In this example, I was asked to create an Augmented Reality representation of the research data showing the sea level rising over the span of seventy years to be presented to the city officials of Florida. I used Maya, Substance Painter and Unity, with Veiwforia image tracking.
Being able to see the data across time and in an actual tourist location has driven the local lawmakers a real-world idea of how this will impact their economy.
Here is an example of an interaction discovery, outside of Unity in a VFX pipeline using PF track and After Effects to show how one could start a session for the Hololens.
After interviewing the stakeholders we would find the pain points and try to leverage the capabilities of the Hololens as an AR device for their enterprise needs, not just as an interactive learning module.
